The Melbourne Performing Arts Academy (MPA) is a social enterprise community music school that provides a nurturing, student-centered, life enriching and musically challenging learning experience for students of all ages, both adults and children.
Founded in 2017, MINPAA builds communities and reduces social inequality through the joy of music by providing accessible and low-cost musical education for at-risk, culturally diverse and disadvantaged communities, with a particular interest towards single parents.
MPA promotes active community involvement by reaching areas of isolation where music education may otherwise be unavailable including the Carlton Housing Estate with the purpose of supporting social justice, accessibility and well-being.
MPA provides diverse arts activities including group and individual instrumentals, vocal, choral, creative movement/dance, yoga, puppetry, and drama for both children and adults 7 days a week.
