Welcome to our unique one and two hour Multi-instrumental Classes
This class is designed for children 2.5-5 years of age who would like to attend a two hour program at our academy.
This program focuses on a nurturing child-centred approach to musical education learning.
Our Curriculum plan incorporates a range of musical elements, styles and teaching methods including Kodaly and Orff-Schulwerk.
Every lesson also incorporates a myriad of musical activities, musical games and especially multi-instrumental instrumental learning. These classes form the foundation for future instrumental specialisation by providing the children with a wonderful theoretically based musical experience.
Parents bring their children at the start of class with a small snack and drink bottle then return 1-2 hours later.
The class includes group tuition in the following:
Guitar/Ukulele, Violin, Drum Kit, Percusion, Piano/Keyboard, Singing/Choir, Creative Movement/Dance, Composition/Improvisation

Sing, use body percussion and/or play instruments to practise chants, songs and rhymes
Sing, use body percussion and/or play instruments to improvise patterns and practise chants, songs and rhymes
Sing and play instruments to create and practise chants, songs and rhymes including those used by cultural groups in the local community
Present and Perform

Students explore sounds through singing. They demonstrate rhythm skills by listening to and imitating simple musical beat and patterns. They describe the music they like and dislike.
By the end of Kindergarten, students sing and play instruments to communicate their experiences and ideas. They explore contrasting sounds and improvise with them. Students match pitch when singing. They understand and respond to the beat and simple rhythm patterns.
Students describe the music to which they listen, identifying what they enjoy and why.
